The main aim of “Marine Services Department” – operational repair during the voyage or vessel’s stay in port.There are three divisions of the Department. |
Hull division:
- repair of hull structures (elimination of the emergency damages)
- manufacturing and repair of pipelines (including pipelines made of non-ferrous alloys)
- repair of component parts made of non-ferrous metals and cast-iron
- manufacturing of bunker samples
- tests of cranes and davits
Mechanical division:
- repair and maintenance of main and auxiliary engines
- repair and maintenance of ship and deck equipment
- repair of electric motors and generators
- wiring works
Technical division:
- technological maintenance of the department’s work
- thickness measurements of ships hull
- fault detection of welded joints and engine details by ultrasonic detector (EPOCH 4)
